Donations to the underprivileged by the number of participants

The Ministry of Science and ICT’s Post Office will launch a “Hope Mail Box Campaign” starting on the 16th to deliver messages of hope and gratitude to citizens and medical staff who are tired of Corona 19.
The campaign will be held starting from Suwon on the 16th, Gang-Neung on the 18th, Seoul on the 20th, Dae-Jeon on the 23rd, Daegu on the 27th, and Mokpo on the 28th of this month. If you write a message of cheer on the postcard in the post box of hope and put it in the post box provided, it will be delivered to the medical staff. Donations will also be made to the underprivileged by accumulating the amount matching the number of people participating in the campaign.
The Hope Mailbox was created in the shape of the initials “ㅎㅎㅎ” of the cheering message “Let’s work together with hope”. It was installed in places where people often visit, such as the Seoul Forest Outdoor Performance Hall in Seoul and the Gang-Neung Jeong-dong-jin Hourglass Park, so that it can be used easily. Busking performances are also being staged where the campaign is held, and live broadcasts are also available through YouTube. For more information, such as campaign schedule and live broadcast time of these Busking performances, check the Instagram page of the Post Office.
You can send a message of support online as well as on the site where the campaign is being held. For online support, you can write ‘ㅎㅎㅎ’ with three hope messages on a piece of paper and post them on your Instagram page with the hashtag ‘ㅎㅎㅎ campaign.’
Support messages received in the “Hope Post Box Campaign” will also be displayed at the “Korea Postage Stamp Exhibition” held online. The ‘Korea Postage Stamp Exhibition’ will be held online from November 18th to December 24th, 2020. At the online exhibition hall, major stamp-winning works can be viewed as a VR (virtual reality) exhibition, also various cultural contents such as planned exhibitions and events will be provided.
Park Jong-Seok, head of the postal business headquarters, said, “I hope this campaign will give a little bit of strength to the people who are suffering from Corona 19.”
